Resident Life
Residency is a transformative experience. The people you work with define the program’s culture. At Temple, we pride ourselves on our supportive environment in which residents meet the challenges of surgical training without neglecting their lives outside of the operating room. The core of resident wellness starts with maintaining interests, hobbies, and relationships, and we take an active role in supporting our residents' professional and personal wellbeing.
Our residents can be found hanging out together beyond the hospital walls, from exploring Philly’s restaurant scene to attending baby showers to trips to the shore with our families and dogs. A collegial, tight-knit group of hardworking, humble, and genuinely amazing residents make joining the Temple Surgery family a truly exceptional training experience.
