Admission Deadlines
- The application period opens on September 15 of the year prior to the program’s start
- The application period closes on June 1 (11:59 pm EDT)
- Supplemental items deadline is June 15 (11:59 EDT)
- Pre-requisite coursework must be completed by July 15
- Classes begin in late August
How to Apply
An application will be considered complete only when the following materials have been received:
- Verified PostBacCAS Application. Since PostBacCAS processing may take up to 6 weeks, we strongly recommend that all application materials are submitted early.
- LKSOM PostBac Secondary Application
- Casper online assessment
NOTE: There will be no deadline extension for incomplete applications.
Admission Selection Process
To select candidates for interviews, the admissions team completes an individualized holistic review of each completed application including, but not limited to, the following:
- Candidate's academic history
- Casper results
- College attended
- Community service activities
- Extracurricular activities
- Medically related experience
- Recommendations
- Standardized test scores
- Work experience
- While not required, students also may list research activities
