Advancing Microbiology Education with EPAASM 
CMI faculty play an active role in the Eastern Pennsylvania Branch of the American Society for Microbiology (EPAASM), supporting scientific outreach, mentorship and education in our local community. 

A key initiative is participating in educational outreach programs in local school districts, such as judging science fairs and mentoring students interested in microbiology and immunology. By engaging with young scientists, we aim to inspire the next generation of researchers and healthcare professionals. 

Our faculty also help organize professional development events for students and early-career scientists, providing opportunities for networking, skill-building and career exploration in microbiology-related fields.
