Fels Biomedical Research Undergrad (FELS-BR-U) Program

This paid, year-round research-intensive program provides research and professional development activities for Temple undergraduate students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

The goal is to help participants develop the skills necessary to be competitive for research fellowship/programs, graduate school and the research workforce. More than 20 Temple students have participated in the FELS-BR-U program since its inception in 2020.

Program graduates having gone on to pursue career and educational opportunities in biomedical research, including enrollment in BS, PhD, and MD programs, and have obtained full-time research positions in academia and industry.
