Dear Faculty, Staff and Students, 

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to address today’s Supreme Court ruling and reaffirm our commitment to our founding principles and the values we hold dear.  

Temple University, since its inception, has stood as a beacon of access and opportunity. Our founder, Russell Conwell, firmly believed that every student, regardless of their background, should have the chance to receive a high-quality education. This belief continues to resonate deeply within the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, and we uphold these tenets in the fabric of our medical community. 

Our commitment to access and inclusivity are central to our mission and our dedication to the population that we serve. We remain steadfast in support of our staff, students and faculty, who stand second to none. We firmly believe that our unique perspectives and diverse experiences are essential in shaping the future of medicine and healthcare. We are committed to fostering an environment where all voices are not only heard, but actively encouraged, engaged, and empowered.
