As a university hospital set in an urban community, Temple is a leader in delivering state-of-the-art medical care to a large indigent population. The resident training and educational program within the Obstetrical and Gynecological Service provides residents the opportunity to participate in the forefront of many of the exciting areas of contemporary medicine: the dynamics of health care delivery; clinical investigation; teaching; and, most importantly, the thoughtful, efficient and compassionate care of the patient.
