In the CA-2 year, each resident will have a 2 month rotation in pediatric anesthesia at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), an internationally recognized center for pediatric care.  During this rotation, residents learn the fundamental principles of pediatric anesthesia as they care for patients ranging in age from pre-term infants to young adults.

In the CA-3 year, each resident will have a rotation in advanced pediatric anesthesia at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, the principal pediatric affiliate of the School of Medicine.  For residents with a strong interest in pediatric anesthesia, additional rotations at either institution may be arranged during the CA-3 year.
