Seminars for the Scientific Community

In addition to providing ongoing education and training for medical students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows, Fels organizes seminars for the biomedical scientific community at large.

The topics are cutting-edge biomedical science – and the keynote speakers and presenters are leading experts from industry, academia, and government from across the nation and around the world.

Annual Trainee Day

The Fels Institute’s Signaling, Epigenetics and Genome Maintenance Annual Trainee Day showcases the work of trainees from Fels, Fox Chase  Cancer Center, and our T32 predoctoral program. In addition to featuring poster and oral presentations, the event provides career development activities and networking opportunities.

Extramural Research Seminar

Our Extramural Research Seminar program for trainees features talks by leading national and/or international scientists – followed by a luncheon that gives trainees and speakers the opportunity to interact. The goal is to foster new collaborations and networking opportunities.
