Residency Interview Policy – 2025 Match Cycle

Our residency interview process includes two distinct pathways for evaluation:

1. Applicants Who Complete a Sub-Internship

For students who rotate with us, the sub-internship will serve as your formal interview. No additional interview will be offered during the regular interview season. We view the sub-I as the most authentic way to assess your fit for our program while allowing you to experience our culture and training environment firsthand.

2. Applicants Who Do Not Complete a Sub-Internship

Students who do not rotate with us will be invited to participate in formal, in-person interviews held on predetermined dates in the late fall and early winter, in accordance with the SAU interview calendar. Interview invitations will be extended through the coordinated SAU interview release system.

Regardless of the pathway:

• Our process adheres to all SAU-AUA Match policies.
• We do not offer second looks, and no post-interview communication will be initiated by our program.
• Mentorship relationships may continue, provided they are not related to recruitment or ranking.
