Fellowship Program

The section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Temple University Hospitals offers a two-year ACGME accredited fellowship training program dedicated to training future leaders in the field. Our fellows gain valuable experience working with our outstanding faculty, while serving patients in our North Philadelphia community and surrounding sites. We are also the main teaching site for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine which is across the street from the hospital and allows for strong collaboration with the medical school.

Our Mission

Provides extensive clinical experience and extensive didactics to develop well-rounded endocrinologists
Improve the health and wellbeing of our patients living in the North Philadelphia community
Provide resources and mentorship for fellow research
Foster growth and leadership opportunities for fellows to allow them to be leaders in the communities they practice and the field of endocrinology as a whole

What makes Temple different from other programs? We have a diverse faculty with unique backgrounds and training, but we are all committed to fellow education and providing a nurturing environment for physicians to grow and develop their clinical, educational and research skills. We have a strong sense of camaraderie and a commitment to the patients in North Philadelphia that we serve.

Our fellows go on to careers in clinical and academic endocrinology around the world - but remain connected with our faculty and co-fellows as part of the Temple community.
