We are accepting applications through ERAS, starting July 5th. We are looking for4 fellows per year. We require the ERAS common application form, departmental letter of recommendation, and 2 other letters of recommendation. We ask for a personal statement as well. We accept international graduates with either a J-1 or H-1 visa. Interviews will be conducted from the end of August through October.

NOTE: For recruitment season for fellowship positions beginning July 3, 2024, ALL interviews will be virtual via Zoom. There will be no opportunity for in-person visits or second looks. Applicants invited for an interview will be mailed a folder about our fellowship program.

The Section of Infectious Diseases welcomes and encourages candidates from under-represented minority backgrounds and women candidates to apply to our program. Eligible applicants will be considered based on their preparedness, aptitude, academic credentials, community service, communication skills, leadership ability, and personal qualities such as motivation and integrity. Applicants being considered for a position will be invited to virtually “visit” Temple in late August through October for 3-4 hours, including interviews with several faculty, an in-depth program overview, a sample educational conference, and a meeting with current fellows. Invitations, interview confirmations and other correspondence will be sent via email.
