Temple University Hospital’s Virtual Interview Process
In accordance with AAMC and GME recommendations, we will again be conducting a virtual interview season this year. As in previous years, we are designing our interview process to provide applicants an opportunity to get to know our program and to ensure a fair and equitable opportunity for applicants to demonstrate their strengths. Because of the virtual nature of the interview season, some components traditional “interview day” will take place on different days.
First, we have provided lots of information here that will assist you in getting to know both Temple University Health System and our department much better. Please take your time to review our website and videos in order to learn what it means to be “Temple Made.”
Second, we will be hosting a “Get to Know Temple Anesthesiology” event over the summer to provide applicants a chance to learn about the strengths of our program and the world-class training we provide. This session will be recorded if applicants are unable to attend.
Third, for applicants who are offered an interview, we will be holding a series of town hall sessions with the Program Director, the Chair, and the Chief Residents. These will be held on specific dates throughout the fall, typically at 7:00 PM EST to allow everyone across the many time zones to attend. Each session will provide a live Question & Answer format so that you can gain some familiarity with our leadership team and the major characteristics of our program.
Our primary basis for selection of applicants will be your ERAS application, interview, and demonstrated interest in the program.
Finally, applicants who satisfy our rigorous review process will be ranked in the Match.
