Pulmonary Hypertension Vascular Disease Fellowship

Temple Pulmonary Hypertension Fellowship

About the Program

Welcome to the Temple Heart & Vascular Institute's Pulmonary Hypertension Fellowship Program!

Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) in all forms is a progressive, severe, life-threatening cardiopulmonary disease, directly associated with heart failure. Successful efforts to improve awareness of this group of diseases have led to increased clinical diagnoses, exponential growth of medical literature, and effective therapeutic options culminating in rapidly changing, evidence-based standards of care. The challenge remains for leaders in medical education to disseminate this knowledge and clinical expertise to physicians caring for the growing population of PH patients.

The Temple Heart and Vascular Institute’s Pulmonary Hypertension, Right Heart Failure, and CTEPH Program is internationally renowned, and is a nationally accredited Pulmonary Hypertension Association Center of Comprehensive Care.

Our PH fellowship, located at Temple University Hospital, provides the next generation of cardiac and pulmonary physicians the knowledge, training and skills required to meet this need. Temple’s long-standing expertise in cardiovascular and subspecialty training offers the highest caliber quality program with successful educational outcomes for those graduates who are #TempleMade.
